L. Lenny Waldhauser, IV

President & CEO

As the CEO of Riverton Insurance Agency Corporation, L. Lenny Waldhauser, IV focuses on insurance, media, and philanthropic endeavors. Mr. Waldhauser has a diverse and interesting 25-year insurance career - leading successful teams in brokerages, program administrators and insurance companies, as well as holding senior underwriting positions with Chubb, XL Insurance, and Victor O. Schinnerer, a subsidiary of Marsh, Inc.

Prior to leading Riverton Insurance Agency Corporation, Mr. Waldhauser was Senior Vice President at RLI Insurance Company where he led the creation of and launched the Professional Services Group and Lindbergh Insurance Agency. Collectively, he managed a budget in excess of $250 million in annual premium spread among 17 different profit centers. Earlier in his career Mr. Waldhauser was President of the Retail Division at NIP Group in Woodbridge, NJ. He developed NIP Group into a major player in professional liability by leading organic growth campaigns and several multi-million dollar acquisitions.

As a nationally recognized authority and speaker on professional liability insurance matters as well as the new "insure-tech" changes that are sweeping the industry, Mr. Waldhauser specializes in Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance; Professional Liability Insurance; and Building Disruptive Operational Platforms.

Mr. Waldhauser began his career as an aide to United States Congresswoman Helen D. Bentley (MD-2) and graduated from the University of Baltimore with a BA cum laude in Government and Public Policy.

On a personal level, Mr. Waldhauser is a life-long lacrosse player and is dedicated to growing the sport. After playing 14 years of recreational, high school, and college lacrosse, he played Club Level in Sacramento, CA before returning to the east coast. Since 2012, he has been active in South Jersey youth lacrosse programs as a coach, volunteer, and fund raiser.
